Project rescue

A stalled build, a missed deadline, a team that stopped shipping. We come in, diagnose what's really going on, and either stabilise the project or tell you honestly that it needs a reset.

Situations we take

When the current plan is not going to get there

Projects rarely fail for a single dramatic reason ? it's usually five smaller issues compounding. We've seen the pattern: fuzzy requirements, an over-committed critical path, a brittle test suite, an engineer who left, and a founder who lost trust in the team.

The first seven days are diagnostic only. We don't start changing code until we've shown you, on paper, what's wrong and what a recovery looks like.

What we commit to

  • A written assessment in week one
  • A recovery plan with dated milestones
  • Daily visibility into risks and blockers
  • An off-ramp, if the project genuinely isn't salvageable
Process

Triage, stabilise, restart

1

Triage

Engineers and a delivery lead interview the team, read the code, and map the critical path. We surface the issues nobody's been willing to name out loud.

2

Stabilise

We fix the bleeding: a deployable main branch, a passing test suite, a visible backlog. This usually takes two to four weeks.

3

Restart

With the ship now floating, we either run the remaining roadmap with you or hand back to your team with a concrete playbook.
